【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesinformationandrecommendationsfordesignprofessionals,fabricators,installersandend-usersofFRPchimneyliners.FRPisacost-effectiveandappropriatematerialofconstructionforlinersoperatingatmoderatetemperaturesinacorrosivechemicalenvironment.Thisguideprovidesuniformityandconsistencytothedesign,fabrication,anderectionoffiberglass-reinforcedplastic(FRP)linersforconcretechimneyswithcoal-firedunits.Otherfossilfuelswillrequireathoroughreviewoftheoperatingandserviceconditionsandtheimpactonmaterialselection.ThisguideislimitedspecificallytoFRPlinerswithinasupportingconcreteshellandisnotapplicabletootherFRPcylindricalstructures.1.1Thisguideoffersdirectionandguidancetotheuserconcerningavailabletechniquesandmethodsfordesign,materialselection,fabrication,erection,qualityassurance,andcontrol.1.2Theseminimumguidelines,whenproperlyusedandimplemented,canhelpensureasafeandreliablestructurefortheindustry.1.3ThisguideoffersminimumrequirementsfortheproperdesignofaFRPlineroncetheserviceconditionsrelativetothermal,chemical,anderosiveenvironmentsaredefined.Duetothevariabilityinlinerheight,diameter,andtheenvironment,eachlinermustbedesignedanddetailedindividually.1.4Selectionofthenecessaryresinsandreinforcements,compositionofthelaminate,andpropertestingmethodsareoffered.1.5Oncethematerialisselectedandthelinerdesigned,proceduresforproperfabricationofthelineraredeveloped.1.6Fielderection,sequenceofconstruction,properfield-jointpreparation,andalignmentarereviewed.1.7Quality-assuranceandquality-controlproceduresaredevelopedforthedesign,fabrication,anderectionphases.Thequality-assuranceprogramdefinestheproperauthorityandresponsibility,controlofmaterialandfabrication,inspectionprocedures,tolerances,andconformitytostandards.Thequality-controlproceduresprovidethestepsrequiredtoimplementthequality-assuranceprogram.1.8AppendixX1includesresearchanddevelopmentsubjectstofurthersupportrecommendationsofthisguide.1.9Disclaimer8212;Thereaderiscautionedthatindependentprofessionaljudgmentmustbeexercisedwhendataorrecommendationssetforthinthisguideareapplied.ThepublicationofthematerialcontainedhereinisnotintendedasarepresentationorwarrantyonthepartofASTMthatthisinformationissuitableforgeneralorparticularuse,orfreedomfrominfringementofanypatentorpatents.Anyonemakinguseofthisinformationassumesallliabilityarisingfromsuchuse.Thedesignofstructuresiswithinthescopeofexpertiseofalicensedarchitect,structuralengineer,orotherlicensedprofessionalfortheapplicationofprinciplestoaparticularstructure.ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.1.10Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
