【摘要】:1.1TheserequirementsapplytoapparatusorpartsofapparatusforinstallationanduseinClassI,II,orIII,Division1hazardous(classified)locationsinaccordancewiththerequirementsoftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.1effectiveJuly31,20121.1.1TheserequirementsalsoapplytoapparatusorpartsofapparatusforinstallationanduseinZone20and21hazardous(classified)locationsinaccordancewiththerequirementsoftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Added1.1.1effectiveJuly31,20121.2Theserequirementsalsocoverassociatedapparatuslocatedoutsideofthehazardous(classified)locationwhosedesignandconstructionmayinfluencetheintrinsicsafetyofanelectricalcircuitwithinthehazardous(classified)location.Revised1.2effectiveJuly31,20121.3Theserequirementsarebasedonconsiderationofignitioninlocationsclassifiedasahazardouslocationbythepresenceofflammableorcombustiblematerialundernormalatmosphericconditions.1.3effectiveJuly31,20121.4Forthepurposesofthisstandard,normalatmosphericconditionsareconsideredtobe:a)Anambienttemperatureof40°C(104°F);b)Anoxygenconcentrationnotgreaterthan21percentbyvolume;andc)Apressureofoneatmosphere.1.4effectiveJuly31,20121.5Thisstandarddoesnotcoverapparatusbasedonhighvoltageelectrostaticprinciplessuchaselectrostaticpaintspraying.1.5effectiveJuly31,2012
