【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirements,testmethods,andmaterialsfor4to48in.diameterpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)corrugatedpipewithasmoothinterior.Thisprofilewallpipeconsistsofanoutercorrugatedwallfusedtoasmoothinnerwallprovidingpipestiffnesslevelsof46psiand115psi.Jointsandfittingsareincludedinthisspecification.1.2Therequirementsofthisspecificationareintendedtoprovidepipeandfittingssuitableforundergrounduseinnonpressureapplicationsforsanitarysewers,stormsewers,andperforatedandunperforatedpipesforsubdrainage.Note18212;Industrialwastedisposallinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthecognizantcodeauthority,sincechemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersandtemperaturesinexcessof140x00B0;F(60x00B0;C)maybeencountered.1.3PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Note28212;Forperforatedpipeapplications,thesizeoftheembedmentzoneandpermeabilityoftheembedmentmaterialareimportanttothesystem''sabilitytoprovidethedesiredlevelofinfiltrationorexfiltration.Thegradationoftheembedmentmaterialmustbecompatiblewiththeperforationslotsizetoavoidbackfillmigrationintothepipe.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
